The wine is made of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3 % Merlot. The grapes all came from the estate owned vineyards and were harvested manually. The wine was aged in a mixture of French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels for 12 months. The 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon is quite supple and assertive with a powerful nose of prunes and leather with hints of spices and a medium body supported by firm Tannins. |

| The wine is made of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc all harvested manually at the Château's vineyard. The different wines were aged separately for one year in French and American oak barrels and then blended together prior to bottling. The 2002 vintage was hot and prolonged and produced a full-bodied and strong Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is concentrated with ripe and sweet flavors of cassis and strwberry jam accompanied by fir and vanilla. |

Made of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Cabernet Franc all harvested manually at the Château’s vineyards. The different wines were aged separately for one year in French and American oak barrels and then blended together prior to bottling. The 2003 vintage was relatively cool and proved to be exceptionally good for the Cabernet. The wine has ripe and sweet flavors of cassis and strawberry jam on a background of tobacco and molasses with a medium body and young tannin.

The Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 is a blend of five different parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% of Cabernet Franc.The grapes were all hand-harvested at Château Golan’s vineyard and vinified seperately. Blending took place after a year of aging in French (70%) and American oak barrels (30%). The Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 has a rich sweet nose with some "green" touches - Strawberry jam, molassa, bellpepper, smoke, eucalyptus and mint. The mouth is rich and thick and quite round with the tannins showing more clearly on the finish.

Merlot 2001 |

The wine is made of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.The grapes all came from the estate owned vineyards and were harvested manually at a high sugar level which resulted from an unusually rapid ripening. The wine was aged in one year old French oak barrels for a period of 11 months. The 2001 Merlot is ripe and fruity with notes of cassis, sherry and vanilla. Despite a problematic season characterized by early ripening, the wine is balanced and elegant.

The wine is made of 89% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon all harvested manually at the Château's vineyard. The wine was aged for one year in one-year old French-oak barrels and then blended with some Cabernet Sauvignon for extra body prior to bottling. The 2002 Merlot is a soft and fruity wine with a fresh fruity nose of cherries and plum. It has a medium to light body and mild tannins. |

The wine is made of 86% Merlot, 13% Syrah and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon all harvested manually at the Château’s vineyards.The wine was aged for one year in French-oak barrels and then blended with some Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon to improve its balance and increase its complexity. The 2003 Merlot is a rich and complex wine with aromas of cassis and strawberry jam on a background of olives and vegetation.

The Merlot 2004 is made of 89% Merlot, 6% of Syrah and 5% of Cabernet Franc. The grapes were all hand-harvested at Château Golan’s vineyard and vinified seperately. Blending took place after 13 months of aging in French oak barrels. The Merlot 2004 has a dominant character of strawberry jam and kirsch and another aspect where you can sense earth ,bark and peat. It is quite soft on the attack and finishes earthy and mentholic. |

The wine is made of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10 % Merlot and 6% Syrah. The grapes all came from the estate owned vineyards and were harvested manually. The different wines were aged in a mixture of French (85%) and American (15%) oak barrels for a period of 10 months and then ,following blending , for an additional period of 4 months. The 2001 harvest is the second one in which Château Golan produced a Caberenet -based blend in an attempt to determine the optimal blend for its unique terroir. The wine has a deep Bordeaux color, firm young tannins, and a nose rich in prune, cassis, leather and vanilla.

| The wine is made of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot all harvested manually at the Château's vineyard. The different wines were aged in new French-oak barrels for a period of 12 months and then following blending, for additional 4 month in the same barrels. The 2002 Eliad is made almost entirely of one parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon that produced the most balanced fruit. The wine is medium to full bodied and has some ripe yet firm tannin. The flavors of ripe fruit are accompainied by nuances of smoke and cedar. |
