Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 is a blend of five different parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon,11% Cabernet Franc and 1.5% Petit Verdot.
The grapes were all hand -harvested at the estate vineyard, vinified and aged separately for a year and finally blended and bottled.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 is an intense wine yet not too heavy or sweet. The nose is a blend of cassis, leaves and cedar with some sweet vanilla and coconut, the mouth is vivid and juicy with a medium body and a slightly more tart and salty balance than usual.

The wine is made of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3 % Merlot. The grapes all came from the estate owned vineyards and were harvested manually.
The wine was aged in a mixture of French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels for 12 months.
The 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon is quite supple and assertive with a powerful nose of prunes and leather with hints of spices and a medium body supported by firm Tannins. |

| The wine is made of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc all harvested manually at the Château's vineyard. The different wines were aged separately for one year in French and American oak barrels and then blended together prior to bottling. The 2002 vintage was hot and prolonged and produced a full-bodied and strong Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is concentrated with ripe and sweet flavors of cassis and strwberry jam accompanied by fir and vanilla. |

Merlot 2005 is a blend of 87% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Syrah. The grapes were all hand-harvested at the estate vineyard, vinified and aged separately for 13 months and finally blended and bottled.
Merlot 2005 has a nose combining tobacco and vegetation with raspberry and other sweet nuances. The impact in the mouth is soft and harmonious with a medium to light body, moderate acidity and a bit of tannin on the finish. |

Syrah 2005 is made of 97% Syrah and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon hand-harvested at the estate vineyard. The Syrah underwent a spontaneous fermentation and was then aged for a year before the final blend and bottling.
Syrah 2005 is an expressive wine with a complex character - its minimal sweetness, clean painless finish and quiet balance that leans to the tart and salty, make it our most “old-worldish” wine. The intense aromas revolve around flowers, raspberry, eucalyptus, smoke and resin; the mouth is elegant and lively with a light to medium weight and the finish is long and juicy. |

Eliad is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend designed to capture the most pure and distinctive expression of that variety in each vintage.
Eliad 2005 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (from three different parcels) and Syrah (6%).
The grapes were all hand-harvested at the estate vineyard and then vinified and aged separately for 13 months before the wine’s final blend.
Eliad 2005 is a dense and concentrated wine with a distinct fruity character. The aromas are sweet and intense, reminiscent of crème de framboise, cassis and dry leaves; the texture is thick and the finish soft and harmonious.

Made of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Cabernet Franc all harvested manually at the Château’s vineyards.
The different wines were aged separately for one year in French and American oak barrels and then blended together prior to bottling.
The 2003 vintage was relatively cool and proved to be exceptionally good for the Cabernet. The wine has ripe and sweet flavors of cassis and strawberry jam on a background of tobacco and molasses with a medium body and young tannin.

The Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 is a blend of five different parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% of Cabernet Franc.The grapes were all hand-harvested at Château Golan’s vineyard and vinified seperately. Blending took place after a year of aging in French (70%) and American oak barrels (30%). The Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 has a rich sweet nose with some "green" touches - Strawberry jam, molassa, bellpepper, smoke, eucalyptus and mint. The mouth is rich and thick and quite round with the tannins showing more clearly on the finish.

The wine is made of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.The grapes all came from the estate owned vineyards and were harvested manually at a high sugar level which resulted from an unusually rapid ripening.
The wine was aged in one year old French oak barrels for a period of 11 months.
The 2001 Merlot is ripe and fruity with notes of cassis, sherry and vanilla.
Despite a problematic season characterized by early ripening, the wine is balanced and elegant.

body prior to bottling. The 2002 Merlot is a soft and fruity wine with a fresh fruity nose of cherries and plum. It has a medium to light body and mild tannins. |
